HOTS licences for education If you are a current HOTS user click here for details of upgrading to the online version. For new education users HOTS is available for a one-off set up fee per site and an annual licence fee per user. Annual user licences are interchangeable between multiple HOTS sites and transferable between successive users. Example 1: A college wants to use HOTS with one group of 24 students in each academic year. The college will pay for the set up of one HOTS site and then buy 24 user licences each year. Example 2: A college has two intakes of student each year and wants to use HOTS with one group fo 24 students starting each September and another group of 24 students starting each February. This college will pay the initial set up fee for one HOTS site and then buy 24 user licences each year. These licences are transferable between the two groups of students within each academic year. Example 3: A college wants to use HOTS with two groups of 18 students at the same time each year, starting in September. This college pays the initial set up fee for two HOTS sites and then buys 36 user licences each year.
